Yaakamu - Sparkling movement under the sea
It's a light sparkling when sea creatures flow in a movement under the sea at night. When we go out hunting at sea in a boat, we always look for bright lights and you can see up to 50 metres or more the sparkling light.
That's when we know there's something swimming in the distance. We only go out when the sea is still and calm weather, no moonlight and no star light just pitch black dark. That's the better time to experience this sparkling light movements.
This has been passed down from generation to generation and that's how we hunt, see and catch dugong and turtle at night. This is yaakamu light night hunting.
